09/01/09: Solano College Theatre received a substantial donation in memory of Sheila Fay
FAIRFIELD, CA -September 1, 2009 – Solano College Theatre received a substantial donation in memory of Sheila Fay to the Solano College Theatre Growth Fund, augmenting the generous gift from Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.
Sheila Fay was a long-time business and computer sciences instructor at Solano Community College and passed away this year. She was also a great supporter of Solano College Theatre.
Earlier this month, SCT saw the establishment of the Tom Hanks/Rita Wilson Endowment Fund, which will provide scholarships to Theatre Arts students at Solano Community College.
