Alison has been the Head Athletic Trainer at Solano College since 1993. Prior to that, she worked at Santa Ana College and Chapman University. Alison has taken an active role in the California Athletic Trainers Association, where she served as District Director and Secretary. Alison has been very active with the United States Olympic Committee, by working Track and Field at the Los Angeles 1984 Games, Atlanta 1996 Games, Olympic Trials in 2000 and as a Medical Director in 2004. She also interned at the San Diego Olympic Training Center in 2002. Alison was the Medical Director of the Steelheads, the Vacaville independent professional baseball team during the its existence. Alison currently serves on the Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine, which is a National Athletic Trainers Association committee with representatives from D1, D2, D3, NAIA and 2 Year Colleges.
Bailey Schentrup is in her first year at Solano College serving as Assistant Athletic Trainer, and Sports Medicine faculty. Prior to coming to Solano, she worked as Head Athletic Trainer at West Torrance High School. Schentrup graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from California State University, Northridge in 2014. She then went on to work at Cal State Long Beach for two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer, working with NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s cross country and Women’s softball. Schentrup graduated with her Masters of Science in Sports Medicine and Injury Studies in May 2016 from Cal State Long Beach.
Natalie Perry is a certified athletic trainer that went to Solano College for two years. She worked as a student athletic trainer for both years, helped with Men’s Basketball and Swimming and Diving and played on the volleyball team. She transferred to Colorado Mesa University after Solano and got her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. She decided to attend graduate school in Florida after she graduated. She attended the University of Florida for two years and worked as a graduate assistant at a local high school, Oak Hall School. She returned to California after graduation and is now the head athletic trainer at Davis Senior High School.
Shelby Davis was a soccer player, and student athletic trainer at Sierra College. After Sierra, Shelby transferred to the Athletic Training program at Sacramento State University. While at Sac State, Shelby was assigned to work at American River College and continued there after graduation. She received her BS in Athletic Training, and became a certified Athletic Trainer in 2015. Shelby also works part time for DVC and Napa College.
