#1 Lainey Brown
At Solano: Lainey made an immediate impact in her first season. She is a strong passer and defensive player that led the teams in digs during her 1st season. She was named on the First Team All Conference Team. We look forward to the strong leadership she will bring to the team this season.
High School/Club: Three years on her Varsity HS team. Two years on Thunder- Vallejo, 18-1 team captain.
Interests/Plans: Plans to become a Psychologist.
#2 Danielle Thelen
At Solano: We look forward to Danielle coming in to make a huge impact in her first season. She has a lot of knowledge of the game; she will help us out in both the front and back row with her experience.
High School/Club: 1 yr Junior Varsity, 3 yrs. Varsity at Vacaville HS. 6 yrs of club experience at Davis, Vacaville Extreme & Club Solano. Team captain for 5 yrs.
Interests/Plans: Plans to major in Criminal Justice. Danielle Plans to transfer to a 4 yr college to continue to play Volleyball. She enjoys grass & sand tournaments and loves going to the lake to wakeboard.
#3 Hope Grace
At Solano: Hope comes to us with some power as a hitter. She is very coachable and eager to work. She is a very positive player and we are excited to have her on the team.
High School/Club: 1 yr. Frosh, 1 yrs JV, 2 yrs. Varsity at RHS. Captain of the high school team her senior year. Three yrs with Club Solano.
Interests/Plans: She plans to transfer to a 4 yr. college and obtain a PHD in Biotechnology.
#4 Courtney Sanchez
At Solano: Courtney returns as a starting setter. She was able to get her hands on the ball a lot in her first year as a setter. She will step into the setting role this season once again, she has a strong serve & we hope she continues to grow as a setter and player.
High School/Club: Played one year on JV, three years on Varsity. Played club ball for four years ( three years at New Era, & one year at Club Solano )
Interests/Plans: Her major is Sports Medicine, she plans to transfer to San Jose State with her AA degree & eventually become a Certified Athletic Trainer.
#6 Natalie Perry
At Solano: Natalie is a strong athlete all the way around, a very positive person and team player. She saw a lot of playing time as an all around player in her first year. She was named to the All Conference First Team last fall. We look forward to the strong leadership she will bring to the team this season.
High School/Club: Played 1 yr. Frosh, two years JV, and one year varsity. She played three years of club in Southern California.
Interests/Plans: Natalie wants to become an Athletic Trainer. After Solano she will transfer to Sac State to get a Master's Degree in Athletic Training.
#7 Selina Castro
At Solano: Selina comes in with some experience as a setter. She will challenge her teammates. She has great sense of the ball and smooth hands when setting. Selina is very coachable and willing to learn and improve her game. She will add a great amount of depth to our setting line up.
High School/Club: She played 1 yr at JV, 3 yrs at Varsity at RHS. Selina played 5 yrs for Club Solano in the off season.
Interests/Plans: She plans to transfer to a 4 yr. college and major in Business/Accounting.
#8 Ajhanaie Rohnstock
At Solano: AJ comes in her second season as a Right Front Hitter. She has developed as a player and is ready for the challenge the Right Front brings to her blocking and hitting game. We have high hopes for her as a returning player.
High School/Club: Played three years on Varsity. AJ competed in club ball for one year.
Interests/Plans: She wants to be a Social Worker one day. AJ Plans to transfer to Sac State as a Sociology Major with an emphasis in Social Work.
#9 Brittany Smith
At Solano: Brittany comes in with some experience playing in the Middle. She can hopefully fill a void after losing a starting middle hitter from last year's team. Brit is very positive and hard working. We love the enthusiasm and high energy she brings to the team.
High School/Club: Played 1 yr. frosh, 1 yr. JV, and 2 yrs. Varsity. Brittany participated in 4 yrs of Club Volleyball with Club Solano.
Interests/Plans: She would possibly like to study Kinesiology to become a Physical Therapist. Brittany wants to transfer to a 4 yr. college; she is interested in San Diego State, Long Beach or Sac State.
#11 Janelle Williams
At Solano: Janelle comes in with some experience as a Right Side Hitter in High School. We found that she really wants to play and has accepted the challenge to also compete as a middle hitter. She is developing as a player and we hope to see some offensive impact to help the team.
High School/Club: She played 1 yr. Frosh, 1 yr. JV, and 2 yrs Varsity at VHS. She has experience playing OH, MH & RH. Janelle played one year of club ball at Club Solano.
Interests/Plans: She plans to major in Biology and wants to transfer to a UC and then get into Vet School at UC Davis.
#12 Emily Skinner
At Solano: Emily was a starting Right Front her first season. This year she will share time as an Outside and Middle Hitter. She has the confidence to play any position. She should be one of our strong Go-To hitters this season.
High School/Club: Played one year on JV ( Vacaville Christian ) , and three years on Varsity ( Will C. Wood ). Competed four years in club, 1 yr. at Vacaville Xtreme, 1 yr. at Club Solano & 2 yrs. in Davis.
Interests/Plans: Plans to transfer to a UC in Northern California for Business or Psychology.
#13 Sarah Cabales
At Solano: Sarah came in as a backup setter in her first season. She has grown as a player and much more confident on the court. She is a versatile player and has had little problem transitioning into a Defensive Specialist.
High School/Club: Played one year on JV, and three years on Varsity, Captain of the squad her senior year. She played three years at Club Solano and two years at Club Xtreme.
Interests/Plans: Plans to transfer to CSU after two years at Solano to become a School Psychologist.
#18 Pilar Washington
At Solano: Pilar has developed as a player from her first season. She was recognized on the All Conference Second Team last fall. Her strength is her blocking, she loves to hit and is learning the system rather quickly. I expect some great things from Pilar this year and we have high hopes of her being a huge offensive threat.
High School/Club: One year on JV, two years on Varsity, captain her senior season. All League in her senior year of competition. Played volleyball for Club Starlings in Oakland.
Interests/Plans: After finishing two years at Solano she plans to continue her education at Xavier University in Louisiana.
