Accounting
In recent years, accounting has been one of the fastest growing professions and
the monetary rewards for both the individual just entering the field and those achieving
corporate positions are among the highest.
Banking and
Finance, Bank Operation
This discipline is offered by the College in cooperation with the American Institute of
Banking. A certificate can be obtained upon completion of the 21-unit major. The Associate in Science Degree can be obtained upon completion of 60 units,
including the 21-unit major, general education requirements and electives.
Business, General
Transfer
This program is designed for business students planning to transfer
to the University of California (UC) and/or the California State
University (CSU) systems.
Business, Insurance Specialization
The program combines the insurance industry knowledge and resource
base of the Insurance Brokers and Agents of the West and the
Insurance Educational Association. The Business AA/Insurance
Specialization will be based on the successful completion of six

Information Science
The Computer Information Science major includes three options:
- Computer Programming
- Microcomputer Applications
- Web Administration (New beginning Summer 2004)
Management
Besides general management, students can also choose
one of the following specialty options:
- Management - Retail
- Management - Small Business Management
Marketing
Marketing involves a variety of activities including selection of
target customer, product development, promotion, pricing, and distribution.
Office Technology
This program is designed to develop a management support person with the
technical and communication skills that are needed in today's business
world.
Real Estate
An Associate in Science degree and certificate can be earned in Real
Estate.
