Transfer Information
While it is ultimately
students' responsibility to adhere to transfer admissions requirements and application
deadlines, Solano College counselors can help students keep up to date with the
complex array of transfer requirements. To ensure transfer admission, particularly
into competitive majors, students should see a counselor early in their educational
experience in order to develop an education plan that includes transfer prerequisites that
are common to a number of public and private four-year colleges and universities.
Please use www.assist.org to check which Solano classes are transferable to Cal. State or U.C.
Campuses.

As a prospective transfer student, it is important to make sure that the community college courses you take are acceptable to the university for transfer credit. ASSIST is California's official statewide repository of transfer information for the CSU and UC university systems, offering easy access to a single database of course transfer information. ASSIST will help you determine if you will receive credit for courses you've already taken or plan to take and how those courses will apply to a specific academic major or general education requirement.
In addition, students
are urged to study the catalogs of four-year schools and, if possible,
visit those campuses. Catalogs and detailed transfer information
are available in Building 400:
- Counseling (Room 404)
- Career Center (Room 437)
- Transfer Center (Room 438).
