CAP is an admissions program for high school seniors interested in guaranteed admission to UC Berkeley.  While Cal may not admit one as a freshman, if minimally eligible, they will offer guaranteed admission after completing 60 transferable units and a 3.0 GPA at Solano College.  Interested UC eligible students should apply for freshman admission to Cal in November of their senior year.  If denied, the CAP alternative will be offered.  This program is offered to Letters & Science applicants and a selected number of College of Engineering applicants (3.5 transferable GPA is required in Engineering.)
