Program Description
This program is designed to prepare the student for employment as a
body repair and paint apprentice in privately owned repair shops or
automotive dealerships. A student could be self-employed from the
training after completing the program.
Opportunities
Opportunities are available for highly skilled people in
the specialized fields of auto body repair, auto refinishing, auto frame
straightening, and auto insurance damage appraising. Persons who
demonstrate a high degree of skill and natural talent will enjoy unlimited
opportunities in these fields.
To achieve the:
Associate in Science Degree - Completion of 67 units,
including the 46-unit major below, general education requirements and
electives.
Certificate of Achievement - Completion of the
46-unit major below.
