How do you spend your money?

Have you ever eaten at a McDonald's?  Do you own a color TV set?  Do you have a favorite rock star?  Do you work or want to work for a profit or non-profit organization?  If the answer is yes, then marketing has something for you: almost unlimited job and advancement opportunities.

Could a cash register ring affect you?

About 50 cents of each dollar you spend for products or services is spent on the marketing process.  Any business or organization that cannot successfully market its products or services will not exist for long.  If you believe that "nothing happens unless the cash register rings," then special education in marketing is for you.  Just one specialty within marketing is the retailing of products or services.  It provides over 14 million jobs.
