![]() Solano College Educational Foundation Foundation board members believe that the colleges growth and success reflect the rich academic offerings and career programs, strong student services and the colleges commitment to meeting the changing needs of the county and of society. Thousands of students have graduated from Solano College to go on to successful careers, and thousands more have taken undergraduate courses that allowed them to transfer to four-year colleges. These successes demonstrate the strength and vitality of the partnership between Solano College and the community. Now, because of tax-reduction initiatives, state spending limitations, and dramatic decreases in state and federal subsidies, the continuation of quality programs to meet the expanding needs of the community is becoming more difficult to finance. This is where the Foundation can help. Through fund raising efforts such as the Alumni Development Campaign, Corporate Gift Giving, Endowments, Major Campaigns and Charitable Remainder Trusts, we can help bridge the deficit. Governed by a board of community directors, the Foundation provides an avenue for individuals and businesses to make tax-deductible donations to support the work of Solano College. The Foundation directors invite you to join them in their efforts to raise funds for student programs, equipment, library automation and acquisitions, capital improvements, technology, athletic and cultural programs, and an ever-expanding range of recognized needs that have been affected by reduced funding. Join us todayinvest in education for a better tomorrow.
