Andy Porras is a freelance journalist who writes about

unrecognized Hispanic history and Latino issues for

The Sacramento Bee, The Los Angeles Times,

The Vacaville Reporter, The Woodland Daily

Democrat, and many other publications. He has also

edited various Hispanic magazines and has published

his own book, entitled  "Bilingual, Bicultural, and

By Myself."
