Dr. Sanford Wright, who has been a college-level Political Science instructor for over 20 years, currently coordinates the Ethnic Studies Program. Dr. Wright has taught Political Science and Ethnic Studies-related courses at various universities across the nation. His vast teaching experience and his broad exposure to a wide variety of cultures and ethnic groups have helped enable him to successfully manage the Ethnic Studies Program.

Dr. Wright was recently nominated for the John W. Rice diversity award by various administrators at Solano Community College. Dr. Wright actively networks with individuals of different races and cultural backgrounds in the community, and is continually striving to improve the infrastructure of the Ethnic Studies Program so that more people will be better able to appreciate and explore the multi-cultural sphere of America.
