Health Occupations
Division
Welcome to the
Health Occupations Division. The
Health Occupations Division offers the opportunity to embark on a
health career that is challenging, exciting, and highly satisfying.
We conduct a highly respected two-year associate degree program in
Registered Nursing, a career mobility program for licensed Vocational
Nurses, an excellent Emergency Medical Technician program, and courses
in medical terminology, pharmacology for health professionals,
emergency room, critical care and coronary care nursing. As a
student in the associate degree Registered Nursing program, you will
learn to apply skills in communication, critical thinking, patient
assessment and intervention in a variety of clinical settings.
The Emergency
Technician certificate program teaches students to perform patient
assessment and treatment skills in pre-hospital emergency
situations involving illness or injury.
Our instructors are
active practitioners with extensive clinical expertise, and they are
committed to providing the best possible learning experiences for
our students.
We are an approved
CEU Provider and fully accredited by the California Board of Registered
Nursing.
We welcome your
inquiries.
Sincerely,

Fran Brown
