TurnItIn.Com From SCC's Spring 2008 FlexCal:"Faculty Role in Plagiarism Prevention" (pdf) This session placed plagiarism within the context of Information Competence and its implications for faculty and students. Discussion included how and why plagiarism occurs - focusing on preventative measures instructors can apply in their classrooms. An overview of the new faculty resource, Turnitin.com, was covered.
