Library Instruction

Workshops

A semester-long schedule of non-credit workshops (LR500: Topics in Research & Information Competency) will be offered beginning in Fall 2010. (Course Outline)

Until then, drop-in workshops are available, covering a variety of topics including:

• Research Basics: intro to the Library, getting started in the Catalog (SNAPweb), and "Beginning Your Research"
• Searching & Finding: using the library's databases
• More Research: finding scholarly periodicals, beginning & advanced searching on the Internet
• Evaluation: for both print & online resources
• Citations and MLA/APA
• and more!

Every:	Monday	Tuesday	Wednesday
At:	12 noon - 2 pm	10 am - 12 noon	2 pm - 4 pm
Location:	Room 103, in the Library. Come on in and ask for "The Bib Lab".

Come any time during the workshops hours, or come for the entire time.
(You can also get face-to-face help in the Vallejo & Vacaville Centers, during our open hours!)
