Workshops
A semester-long schedule of non-credit workshops (LR500: Topics in Research & Information Competency) will be offered beginning in Fall 2010. (Course Outline)
Until then, drop-in workshops are available, covering a variety of topics including:
- Research Basics: intro to the Library, getting started in the Catalog (SNAPweb), and "Beginning Your Research"
- Searching & Finding: using the library's databases
- More Research: finding scholarly periodicals, beginning & advanced searching on the Internet
- Evaluation: for both print & online resources
- Citations and MLA/APA
- and more!
