Faculty Home Pages
The Math and Science Division is composed of 28 full-time and over 50 part-time faculty. The faculty are known for their quality of instruction, commitment to the educational process, and concern for their students. It is not unusual to see students regularly return after graduation to share their latest successes with special faculty members. The Division’s curriculum includes courses in Anthropology, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering, General Science, Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Meteorology, and Physics. Certificates are offered in Biotechnology and AA degrees in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, General Science, Mathematics, and Physics. Our curriculum satisfies the math and science general education requirements of other AA degree and transfer programs as well. Students regularly transfer to UC Davis and UC Berkley as well as other state of California and private four-year institutions.
Courses are
available day and evening at the Fairfield campus, the Vallejo and
Vacaville Centers, and at Travis AFB.
The MESA program is
and integral part of the Math and Science program for many students.
This program provides tutoring, workshops and industry and professional
meeting opportunities for students that are eligible.
Our faculty and
staff are dedicated to providing you with a stimulating learning
environment and to helping you make your educational experience a
productive and enjoyable one.
Sincerely,
David Redfield, PhD
