Solano Community College offers three registration options to students:

  • Web registration at Online Services
  • Telephone registration (R.S.V.P.)
  • In-person registration.

Classes may fill quickly, so we recommend that students register as soon as possible.  Both Web and telephone registration options are conducted by priority during the first three weeks of the registration period.  You may determine your registration priority by calling (707) 864-7000 extension 4508 or by going to the Registration Priorities/Schedule on the Web.  Open registration by Web and telephone begins immediately after the last priority period.  For specific Web and telephone registration dates, consult the Registration Priorities/Schedule or the Registration Priorities calendar in the printed schedule.  In-person registration is not available until the week prior to the start of classes (for more information, see below).  After classes start, there is also a short late-registration period (see below).

For your convenience, Web and telephone services are available to add, drop, and verify your class schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  You can also login to Online Services and go to Fee Inquiry/Payment to find information about your fees, purchase a parking permit or photo ID, and, in most cases, pay your outstanding fees by credit or debit card.

Before you use Online Services or R.S.V.P. to register, please read the instructions below:

  1. Complete an Application for Admission.  If you mail, FAX, or drop-off an application, please allow up to five (5) business days for processing prior to registering.

  2. If you have moved recently, please make sure your correct address is on file with the Office of Admissions and Records. You may update this information online by using Online Services from the College website (https://onlineservices.solano.edu/). Your registration receipt may not reach you if your address is not current.

  3. Clear all outstanding debt (if applicable.) You may pay any current debt by using Online Services from the College website (https://onlineservices.solano.edu/).

  4. Obtain a fee waiver or fee deferment (Veteran Assistance, Vocational Rehabilitation) from the appropriate office at least two (2) weeks prior to registering.  If you are an active duty member of the military receiving tuition assistance, you must contact the Base Education Office prior to registering for classes.

  5. Complete the R.S.V.P. worksheet printed in the Schedule of Classes. Select alternate courses, since some of your first-choice classes may be closed.  Be sure to check for prerequisite requirements and class locations.

Students may pay their fees at the time they register by entering their credit or debit card number or defer fees for later payment.  We currently accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa Credit,  or Visa Debit cards.  Payment is due within 10 business days of registration.   Fees can be paid by mailing a check or money order to the Office of Admissions and Records or by credit or debit card at Online Services.  Students who do not pay within the 10-day period may be dropped from their classes.

R.S.V.P. Telephone Registration
RSVP (707) 864-1006

Anyone can register by phone with a touch-tone telephone.  Registration Services Via Phone (R.S.V.P.) utilizes the latest in voice response technology to guide students through each step of the registration process.

R.S.V.P. Instructions:

  1. You must call from a touchtone phone to access R.S.V.P. Some cordless and cell phones may not work.

  2. Determine your registration priority by calling (707) 864-7000 extension 4508, or by going to the Registration Priorities/Schedule on the Web.

  3. Go to the Registration Priorities/Schedule to determine your registration date and time.

  4. On your scheduled day and time, call R.S.V.P. at (707) 864-1006 to register.  You will be charged $1.00 for each semester you use the R.S.V.P. Telephone Registration System. This fee is not refundable.

  5. Listen carefully.  A voice response will guide you through each entry.

  6. DO NOT HANG UP UNTIL R.S.V.P. SAYS “GOODBYE” OR YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED.

  7. After completing your registration, use the pre-printed envelope stapled inside the Schedule of Classes to return your payment, or mail to

Solano Community College
Admissions and Records
4000 Suisun Valley Road
Fairfield, CA 94534-3197

If paying by check, please include your Social Security Number on the check.  The Office of Admissions and Records must receive your payment within 10 working days of your call or your registration may be cancelled.  YOU WILL NOT BE BILLED.  Your class schedule/fee receipt will be mailed to you once your fees have been posted.

NOTE:  After you register and your scheduled registration time ends, you will not be allowed to access the R.S.V.P. system until your registration payment has been posted.

Any problems with the R.S.V.P. system should be immediately reported to the Office of Admissions and Records at 707-864-7171.  DO NOT WAIT TO CALL.  Many times the problem can be corrected immediately, which will prevent you from missing your scheduled priority registration time.

In-Person Registration

In-person registration is conducted at the Solano Community College Admissions and Records Office in Building 400.  Please consult the Important Dates and Deadlines calendar to determine in-person registration dates. Registration hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, 8 am to 3 p.m.

Late Registration

For a brief period after classes start, you can still register for classes.  For specific dates, see the Registration Priorities/Schedule or the Registration Priorities calendar in the printed schedule.  During late registration, you must first attend class to get the instructor's permission to add the class.
