At Solano: Chris hits the ball hard!!! She is a dominant attacker at the net. Great addition to the team which added height and athleticism to the front row.

High School/Club:  Played three years on varsity Volleyball and Track. One year varsity Basketball and Soccer. All League and Player of the League (MVP) in Volleyball –‘04. League champs ’04 in Volleyball. Track and Field awards through out high.

Interests/Plans: Travel, family and get involved in Real Estate.

At Solano: Team captain in 2005. She brings experience, leadership and energy on the court. Very committed and versatile player, she can play all over the court. Excellent defensive player.

2004: Monica was the assistant coach in 2003 and 2004 here at Solano College. She played 1999-2000 at Santa Barbara CC as a Defensive Specialist – her team took 2nd in the State Volleyball Tournament.

High School/Club: Will C. Wood HS – played three years on Varsity Volleyball – Outside Hitter and Captain. Davis VB Club Elite 16’s & 18’s. Vacaville VB Club 14’s & 12’s. Also played varsity basketball.

Interests/Plans: Return to coaching at Solano and pursue degree in Nursing.  Interest include: Volleyball, snowboarding and wakeboarding.

At Solano: Team captain in 2005. Reads the ball exceptionally well, top defensive player in league. A spark plug on the court, everyday she gives 100%.

2004: Played at Solano – Setter and Defensive Specialist. Top Defensive Award.

High School/Club: Three year Varsity Volleyball Player. Club Solano – four years.
Club Napa/Sonoma – one year.

Interests/Plans: Planning on going to a 4-year college to study science and become a teacher. Still keeping her options open for educational and athletic possibilities. Interests: Snowboarding and art. Hanging out with friends and shopping.

At Solano: A tall lefty!!! She has improved and excelled at the net with her hitting and blocking. Karlynn is a quiet weapon at the net; she can use both hands to put the ball away.

High School/Club: Three years Varsity Volleyball, Honorable Mention (’04).
Solano Club – two years.

Interests/Plans: Plans to attend Sacramento State and majoring in Computer Science and Biological Sciences. She would like to be a pediatrician or a computer engineer.

At Solano: Our most improved player with the biggest heart. She has come full circle to learn the fundamentals and strategies of Volleyball. Puts up a mean block.

High School/Club: Played four years in high school.

Interests/Plans: She plans on getting into a sonogram technician program and continuing in her American Sign Language Program.

Sports highlights

At Solano: A welcome surprise from the foothills. Katie is our most consistent player all over the court. Katie passes and digs with perfection and handles the outside hitting position aggressively. She is one of the most finely tuned passers I have ever coached.

High School/Club: Three year Varsity Volleyball player – two years All League (Sierra Valley Conference). MVP of the VB team – ’04. Played Club Volleyball since the 3rd grade (Golden Hills/Gold Cal Jrs.

Interests/Plans: Plans to attend a 4-year college and major in Nutrition/Business.

Sports highlights

At Solano:  Nicole is an offensive threat. She runs the net very well in our quick offense. She is one of our Go-To Hitters and one of our top blockers. Nicole has moved as an outside hitter to the middle this year for the betterment of the team.

2003: Played at Solano as an Outside Hitter. Led the teams in kills and hitting percentage.

High School/Club: Two years at Vanden HS.

Interests/Plans: Plan is to transfer to a four-year college and major in Accounting. Hobbies: Playing with her baby and eating.

At Solano: A team player who is dedicated and hard working. A versatile player who can play outside and right side. Played for me in high school and I enjoy watching her progress and commitment here at Solano.

High School/Club: Two years on varsity volleyball at Wood. One year for Club Solano, one year at Davis Club.

Interests/Plans: Plans to transfer to a 4-year college in 2007. Interest include: wakeboarding, dancing and snowboarding.

At Solano: Loves the game. A very dedicated team player. Second year starter at Solano, she has been a continual leader and force at the net for two years.

2004: Starter at Solano as the outside hitter.

High School/Club: Two years varsity volleyball, honorable mention.
Four years at Club Solano. Coach for Club Vacaville Xtreme 14’s power (’05).

Interests/Plans: Plan to transfer to a 4-year college and get her bachelor’s in Nutrition and then get her registered dietician license. She plans to continue coaching volleyball. Interest include: volleyball, wakeboarding and coaching. She wants to play volleyball at a 4-year college.

At Solano:  Team captain in 2005. A vocal leader, demands a lot from herself and her teammates. One of the top setters I have had the pleasure to coach and top setter in the BVC.

2003: Played one year at Stanislaus State University. Appeared in 30 of 35 matches. Played libero the first 15 matches before earning the setting spot for the final 15 matches.

High School/Club: Three years starting varsity setter. Sierra Valley Conference All League (’03) and Honorable Mention (’02). Played Delta Valley Club (12’s & 14’s, 17’s & 18’s) and Gold Cal Jrs. (15’s & 16’s

Interests/Plans: Plans to play 2006 & 2007 seasons at a 4-year school. Obtain a degree in Kinesiology and Sports Studies. Ultimately she plans to Coach Volleyball at the collegiate level.

At Solano: A DS, she has improved and worked very hard on her court awareness, passing and serving. She can play any of the three back row positions.

High School/Club: One year varsity volleyball at Vanden. 2003 Club Solano.

Interests/Plans: She plans to go onto a 4 year college and major in Nursing and continue to play volleyball at a 4-year school.
