At Solano: First year player that has come in to get a starting hitting position at the right front. Dawn is a solid player. We are glad she decided to join our Falcon team.

High School/Club: Played 3 years varsity. Captain her Junior and Senior year. Team Kill Leader in 2008, voted Team MVP in 2008 and made All League in 2008.

Interests/Plans: Dawn has been a Tahitain dancer for 10 years. She plans to study sports medicine. Her favorite pass time is eating and sleeping.

Jenni Moore
Height: 5' 4"

Position: Defensive Specialist
Hometown: Vallejo, CA

At Solano: Very committed and versatile player. Jenni plays all three back row positions. She has a tough floater serve. She is a great addition to our roster this year.

High School/Club: Played two yrs. varsity and four years of club. Captain her senior year, was honorable mention in the SCAC and has been playing VB for six years.

Interests/Plans: Currently pursing her AA degree but plans to major in business & communications. Hopes to transfer to New York University in 2009 where she can pursue business. Loves to play sports and will continue to lead an active lifestyle.

Noel Reddick
Height: 5' 8"

Position: Libero/Defensive Specialist
Hometown: Davis, CA

At Solano: Noel brings some court sense and knowledge of the game, filled an important role as a frosh player whom could play the whole court. Great asset to the team at Solano. Sophomore year she has moved into the DS/Libero position so she can concentrate on defense and dig a lot of balls.

High School/Club: She played two years of Varsity Volleyball at Davis High, where they won the 2006 championships. Noel has been playing volleyball since she was 12 years old.

Interests/Plans: Noel would possibly like to transfer to Berkeley to major in accounting, but she is keeping her options open.

Christina Horner
Height: 5' 9"
Year: Sophomore
High School: Center High
Position: Outside Hitter
Hometown: Littlerock, CA

At Solano: Welcome back for her second season. A strong hitter with maturity and court sense that is irreplaceable. She plays the entire court this season - front row and back row. She has great power and natural athletic ability.

High School/Club: Played 3 years at the varsity level. Christina was MVP her Junior year, and her senior year was named the Gatorade player of the year in 2005.


Interests/Plans: Christina wants to finish her Nursing degree here at Solano, start her career and a family, and do some traveling.

Elena Opopeza
Height: 5' 5"

Position: Right Side Hitter/DS
Hometown: Dixon, CA

At Solano: A nice addition to our spring program last year. Elena has proven to help us out both in the front row and/or back row. She is a very versatile player which is helpful with a big roster. We are glad she decided to join our Falcon team.

High School/Club: Played 2 years of varsity and one year Dan’s Club. In 2006, her team was CVC Champs. Senior year made All Conference and was team captain. Elena also was the Dixon H.S. Freshman Coach before coming to Solano.

Interests/Plans: Elena plans to transfer to a 4-year school and get a degree in Psychology.

Holly Moala
Height: 5' 9"
Year: Sophomore

Position: Right Side Hitter
Hometown: Vallejo, CA

At Solano: Holly came in as a frosh player and made an impact in the front row with her hitting and blocking. She was our right side hitter. She is a great asset to our team this season and moved positions. Her 2nd season she returns to the middle for more force and power and adds to our blocking line-up. Her consistency and size helps our front row.

High School/Club: Three year Varsity Volleyball in high school, one year club experience. Honorable mention 2004 & 2005, All League 2006 in the SCAC and MVP of her team in 2006.

Interests/Plans: Plans to attend San Francisco State, with hopes to compete in and play volleyball at the next level.

Justine Goeb
Height: 5' 6"

Position: Defensive Specialist/Libero
Hometown: Travis AFB, CA

At Solano: Justine has come in to compete as a defensive specialist. She contributes in all three back row positions, is a vocal player and is a pleasure to have on the team this season. Her 2nd season she has become one of our top serve receive passers and moved into the Libero position so that we can have her on the court more often.

High School/Club: Two year varsity volleyball player, played three years of club volleyball, honorable mention for her 2006 high school team. Vanden H.S. won the CVC League title on 2005, her junior season.

Interests/Plans: She is currently working toward her AA degree and plans on transferring to a four year institution where she hopes to pursue a degree in Interior Design.

Chelsea Cooper

Position: Middle Hitter
Hometown: Vacaville, CA

At Solano: Chelsea has come in and made an impact. She is a very coachable player, learns quickly and has moved herself into a starting position, the right side. She holds her own both in the front row and back row. A great asset to the team this season.

High School/Club: Two years varsity volleyball and two years club experience with Vacaville Extreme.

Interests/Plans: Plans to transfer to a 4 year college and pursue a career in the medical field.

Jillian Hall
Height: 5' 10"
Year: Sophomore

Position: Middle Hitter
Hometown: Vacaville, CA

At Solano: Jill has come in to a starting middle hitter’s position. She is learning and growing every day, a very coach-able player and fun to have around, a team player who is not afraid to be vocal. Her 2nd season she is a team leader and co-captain and has moved to the right side to allow her to attack the ball both angle & down the line.

High School/Club: Three years varsity volleyball, three years club experience (Vacaville Extreme & Club Solano). 2005 All Conference team & CVC League Champs!

Interests/Plans: Very active in student leadership. Works for a summer leadership camp with the Leaders Forum as a consultant for high school student councils. Loves movies and cultivé frozen yogurt! Plans to transfer to a 4 year school with the possibility of continuing playing volleyball. She plans to major in English and Communications, but is subject to change her mind.

Sam Neveadomi

At Solano: A solid outside/middle hitter that came in with some experience. Sam hits the ball hard and is very consistent at the net. We are glad she decided to join our Falcon team.

High School/Club: Played high school and club volleyball for four years.

Interests/Plans: Plans on transferring to San Diego State to continue volleyball and earning BS degree. Major undecided at this time.

At Solano: Kaliva (Kay Kay we call her) is a solid passer and defensive player. She has a strong serve that moves all over the court. We are glad she decided to join our Falcon team.

High School/Club: Played high school volleyball all 4 years with two of those on varsity. Played club for Starlings Oakland Club (1 year) and Club X-treme (1 year).

Interests/Plans: Majoring in Physical Therapy with a minor in music production, with hopes to be a producer one day. Kaliva also likes anything related to sports

High School/Club: Two year varsity player. 5 years of playing club volleyball. Won CVC League Title in 2005.

Interests/Plans: Jessica plans on getting her AA after next semester at Solano and plans on transferring to a state college somewhere in California.

Interests/Plans: Livia likes to hang out with her family and friends. She likes to make people laugh. She plans to transfer to a 4 year college after Solano to major in the Psychology field, preferably forensics.

At Solano: Sabrina works hard daily to improve her volleyball skills. She has been a wonderful young lady to work with and assist in her personal goals.

High School/Club: Played 3 years varsity volleyball and was the team captain. Played for Club Solano team “fierce” in 2007/2008.

Interests/Plans: Sabrina plans to major in Business Management, with hopes to own family party planning/catering business. Her interests include, cooking, eating what she cooks, watching movies and chillin with friends.
