TERMS OF OFFICE 1012
POLICY:
Members of the Board shall serve a four (4)-year term,
commencing on the first Friday in December following his or
her election, except that a member appointed to fill a vacancy
shall hold office until the completion of the unexpired term.
Any member of the Governing Board whose term has expired
shall continue to discharge the duties of the office until his or
her successor has qualified. The term of the successor shall
begin upon the expiration of the term of his or her
predecessor. All members shall serve after the expiration of
their respective terms until the appointment and qualification
of their successors. The student trustee serves a one (1)-year
term commencing with the second Board meeting in May of
each year.
