ESTABLISHMENT OF ACADEMIC SENATE 2130

POLICY:
The Governing Board authorizes the formation of an Academic Senate. The primary function of the Senate is to serve as a representative group of the faculty and to make recommendations to the Governing Board with respect to academic and professional matters. The Academic Senate formation, procedures, responsibilities and membership shall be in accordance with Title 5 and with the Solano Community College Academic Senate’s constitution and bylaws.
