PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS 4160
POLICY:
Mandatory Employee Deductions - Routine payroll deductions from employee salaries shall include federal income tax, state income tax, retirement, Medicare and social security, when applicable.
Voluntary Employee Deductions - Voluntary deductions, subject to Governing Board approval, can also include but are not limited to: credit unions, charity fund drives, recognized association dues, tax-sheltered annuities, and deferred compensation plans. Costs for group insurance in other than District-paid plans shall be paid by the employee.
