TRANSFER OF SICK LEAVE 4230
POLICY:
A regular employee who has been employed by another California school district for a period of one (1) calendar year or more and who accepts employment at Solano Community College shall have transferred to Solano Community College the total amount of accrued unused sick leave from the former district (school district, community college district or County Superintendent of Schools) if verification is received within ninety (90) days of the date of initial employment.
The employee will be provided transfer of leave information in orientation documents. It is the employee’s responsibility to initiate the transfer request with the former district.
