Educational Master Plan
(PDF 647 kb)
The implementation of the College’s
Strategic Plan is accomplished through the development of operational
plans by the College’s various units and departments. These operational
plans are integrated with one another and are reviewed and adjusted on a
continuing basis. Because the College is an educational institution, its
chief operational plan is the Educational Master Plan (EMP). The EMP
presents an overview of each academic and student support area within the
College, synopsizing major programs in each area, and identifying needs
and recommended changes. In developing the EMP, the division deans and
Student Services managers use data derived from the ongoing program review
process. Annual institutional goals, developed by the educational
administrators, shared with the Academic Senate, and adopted by the
Governing Board, are included in the EMP and serve not only as guides for
the planning process but as criteria for prioritizing activities for
District funding. The EMP also includes an update on the status of the
prior year’s activities and institutional goals. To view a PDF document, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software on your computer. |
