"Matriculation" describes the process that brings a college and a student into an agreement for the purpose of realizing the student's educational objective. There are several aspects of the Matriculation Program at Solano: admission (application) to the College, assessment of a student's basic skills, orientation to the College, counseling/advising concerning the student's goals, registration in classes, and follow-up of a student's progress. The Matriculation Plan contains details about these and other activities involved in the Program.
