Tutoring Services Policies and Rules Useful Resources for Tutees

All students need to submit a completed Tutee Application before receiving tutoring services of any kind at the Tutoring Center. Tutee Applications are available in the Tutoring Center, Room 1102, or can be downloaded here. Completed forms must be submitted in person at the reception desk in the Tutoring Center, at which time tutor availability with be confirmed and appointments set based on existing openings. If no tutor is available at the times requested, students will be provided with a list of open hours or asked to check back for openings at a later date. Tutoring Center clerical staffing is limited and cannot always notify students when additional tutoring hours open up. If no tutor is available for the subject requested, every effort will be made to identify, recruit, and hire someone qualified to tutor in that particular subject area. However, it must be understood by potential tutees that there will be times that the Tutoring Center will not be able to meet the specific subject and scheduling needs of some students.
