Student Services FAQ
- Student Records
What do I do to request my transcript?
A written request is required to obtain a transcript. Transcript request forms
are available at the Office of Admissions and Records or
online. Be sure to sign
and date the request and, if applicable, include payment of the transcript
fee. All financial debts to
the College must be paid before a transcript will be issued.
Why does it take so long to get a transcript / a verification?
Transcript requests, as well as enrollment verifications, are processed in the
order that they are received by the Office of Admissions and Records. Requests are processed and mailed
approximately ten working days from the date the request is received by the
Office of Admissions and Records. There is
a rush, 1-hour transcript service available to students who cannot wait for the
regular processing period. The fee for this service is $7.50 per transcript.
What's the difference between unofficial and official transcripts?
Official transcripts are printed on security transcript paper with the College
seal imprinted on each page along with the signature of the Dean of
Admissions and Records. The transcript is given to the student (or mailed to
the required destination) in a sealed envelope. A transcript hand-carried by
the student will be considered unofficial if opened before reaching its
final destination. The first two official transcripts requested by the
student are free of charge. Subsequent copies are $2.00
per transcript.
Unofficial transcripts are printed on plain, white paper. The transcript is not
imprinted with the College seal nor does it have the signature of the Dean of Admissions and Records. The fee for unofficial transcripts is $1.00 per transcript.
You can print an unofficial transcript free of charge at
Online Services.
How do I check to see if my transcripts have arrived from my other
college?
The average processing and mailing time for transcripts is two weeks from the
date of order. Students are always welcome to call the Office of Admissions and Records
(707-864-7171) to check to see if their transcripts have arrived.
