Step 6 - Purchase Textbooks
              and Attend Class 

When should I purchase textbooks?

We recommend that you buy your textbooks before classes begin.

• Visit the Solano Community College BOOKSTORE where the textbooks are arranged alphabetically by subject, class, instructor and section number.  Take along your registration receipt so the bookstore staff can help you find your books.
    

• Now you can buy textbooks online! TEXTBOOK LISTS AND ORDERS ONLINE.
   

Is it important to attend the first class meeting?

Be sure to attend the first meeting of each class.  Otherwise you may be dropped or the class may be cancelled. See Important Dates and Deadlines. 

The calendar for each semester, including Final Exam dates for each class, is also always in the Schedule of Classes.
