Weekend College is an innovative program designed for busy people who want to earn college credits in an accelerated format on the weekends.  Classes meet on Friday evening and all day Saturday usually for six weeks. Most classes meet from 6:00 pm to 9:45 pm on Fridays, and 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays.    

The Weekend College allows students to earn their Associate’s Degree in one of two areas—Computer and Information Science or Liberal Arts Studies.  All required courses in the Computer and Information Science major will be offered in the Weekend College format over two years, allowing students to earn a Certificate of Achievement in two years or less.  Courses offered in the Liberal Arts area will satisfy the requirements for the Liberal Arts Associate’s Degree, the Solano College general education graduation requirements, and the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) requirements for the UC and CSU systems.
