Summer Bridge
As of May 20th, 2020 the Summer Bridge program has been brought to a stand still. We hope to return for Summer 2021 and support future Falcons during their transition.
What is Summer Bridge?
Summer Bridge is a six-week academic success cohort program. Scholars take a 3 unit transferable class and participate in workshops that prepare them for the academic expectations of higher education.
Summer Bridge Advantages:
- Early completion of SCC transferable coursework, Scholars will complete the 3 unit transferable course: Introduction to Social Justice studies (SJS 001)
- Scholars will have access to academic success workshops and will establish a powerful network of SCC faculty, advisors, and peer mentors.
- Resources: Scholars will learn how to navigate financial aid, course registration, transfer process, and much more!
- Tuition free (students must qualify for California College Promise Grant)
Eligibility:
- First time student at Solano Community College
- Intention to enroll at SCC n 2020-2021 academic year
- Submit online Summer Bridge application
- Complete FAFSA or CADAA for the year 2019-2020
