The District is very appreciative of the support the community has provided to modernize our aging facilities, as well as, construction of new centers in Vallejo and Vacaville. We are committed to implementing a construction program that will enrich the educational environment and support ever-evolving teaching methods. In talking with students and staff, it is evident that the energy surrounding this construction program builds with each passing day.

The renovations of the Physical Education Building 1700, Career Technical Education Building 1800A, and Student Union/Bookstore/Health Services Building 1400 are near completion. All three should be ready for occupancy no later than end of the fall semester. Construction of the new Vacaville Center is scheduled to start during the fall of 2008. Currently the Theater/Music Building 1200 and the Fine and Applied Arts/Behavioral Science Building 1300 are in the design stage. Construction of these two projects are scheduled to start during the summer of 2009.
