On the State of the College and the 'Defining Moments' that Drive our Choices
Welcome to the Solano Community College (SCC) Web site.
SCC has provided higher education opportunities to Solano County since 1945. Whether you are just beginning your college education, continuing it, or returning to your education after a break, SCC is well endowed to serve you in an environment both nurturing, and, one conscious of high academic standards.
Our faculty stays abreast of developments in their disciplines and continually upgrades its broad curriculum to meet the needs of individuals in 4 year colleges/university transfer programs, in basic skills remediation, or in professional and and career training programs. Whether your goal is to earn a Baccalaureate degree, an Associate degree, a Certificate, to improve your occupational employment, or simply to engage in lifelong learning, Solano Community College will accommodate you handsomely.
As a student at SCC, you can select from day, evening, and weekend classes spread over a full semester, a few weeks, or even a few weekends. Classes are offered at the Fairfield campus, Vacaville Center, Vallejo Center, Travis University Center, and online.
If you are a student looking for an excellent education, I invite you, on behalf of Solano Community College, to enroll in our classes. Your enrollment in SCC represents your commitment not only to your personal education, but your commitment to the betterment of society. If you are a parent looking for an affordable and quality education for your son or daughter, please visit Solano Community College.
I invite you to visit us on the web, or at one of our three locations to learn more about Solano Community College.
