Carpool & Bus Information

Free Ride Share/Car Pool Parking

During fall and spring semesters, a limited number of free Ride Share parking permits are available to students who have three or more students riding in their cars. To be eligible, students must also possess SCC Student ID cards. The three students must bring their valid SCC ID cards, license numbers of all cars to be driven and proof of enrollment to The Student Life Office. These "poolers" receive preferential parking in designated campus lots after obtaining the required permit from the Student Life Office in room 1425. Solano Commuter Information

A car pool computer match is available for drivers and riders in each community. For additional information and services concerning all alternative transportation within Napa and Solano counties and surrounding regions, contact Solano/Napa Commuter Information at 1-800-53KMUTE or www.commuterinfo.net/.

Bus Service

You can take the bus to Solano Community College from Fairfield, Vallejo and Vacaville. There is also connecting service from Benicia to Vallejo and from Dixon to Solano Mall via Vacaville and then to the College. Fares range from $1.50 to $5.00 for one-way trips. Bus fare books are on sale at the campus Bookstore and at the transit office in each city. Community bus schedules are available in Room 1425.
