Technology Password Reset Help

Step 1: Locate Your Solano Username

    • Example: LLane3
    • Students: Find your username in your Welcome Letter or contact Admissions & Records
    • Need help? Contact the HelpDesk if you don’t know your username.

Step 2: Know Your SSPR Username

  • Your Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) username is your Solano username followed by @solano.edu.
    • Example: If your Solano username is LLane3, your SSPR username is LLane3@solano.edu

Step 3: Create a Strong New Password

  • Your new password must:
      • Be 15 to 32 characters long
      • Include at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter
      • Include at least one number
      • Include at least one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $, %, &, *)
      • Not contain your username or any part of your name
      • Not match any of your last 12 passwords

Step 4: Ready to Reset?

If you know your SSPR username and have a password that meets the criteria, click the button below:

 

Step 5: Log In

    • After resetting your password, log into FalconNest using:
    • Your Solano username (e.g., llane3) — without @solano.edu
    • Your new password

Reminder:

  • Your Solano username does not include @solano.edu
  • Your SSPR username does include @solano.edu

Additional Information

    • Video Guide: How to Reset Your Password
      • You must have a personal email on file to use SSPR.
      • Not allowed: Personal emails from these domains:

@solano.edu, @hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com, or other Microsoft domains

Updating Your Personal Email

    • Employees: Use Employee Self-Service in FalconNest or contact HR.
    • Students: Submit a Change of Student Record Information form via Admissions & Records or contact them directly.

Note: Your SSPR username uses @solano.edu, but your Solano College student email domain is @students.solano.edu.
