Applicant Information
Solano Community College proudly follows the California Community College System’s Open Admission Policy. That means admission is open to:
-
Anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent (such as a GED),
-
Or anyone 18 years or older who can benefit from college-level instruction.
If you’re currently in kindergarten through 12th grade, you may be eligible to take college classes through our Special Admissions program.
Visit our Dual Enrollment page to learn more and begin the process.
You must submit a new application if you are:
-
A new student (first time attending SCC), or
-
A returning student who has not attended during the previous semester.
Once you submit your application through the SCC Online Application, you’ll be eligible to register right away. Paper applications are also available in person at the Office of Admissions and Records.
✅ Choose the correct term (e.g., Fall, Spring, Summer) when filling out your application.
✅ Answer all questions completely based on your status during that term.
• Example: If you’ll graduate from high school in June and are applying for the Fall
semester, select “First-time student” for Fall.
Incomplete applications may be returned for correction before they can be processed.
Once your application is processed, you'll receive your login credentials for FalconNest, where you can register for classes.
🗓 Check online for registration dates and deadlines.
