Finance & Administration
The Finance + Administrative Services Division provides essential institutional &
instructional support in the areas of finance and budget, purchasing and procurement,
contract management, insurance and risk management, bookstore, warehouse, mail services,
college police services, and graphics and printing services.
The Vice President serves as as the Chief Financial Officer for the District and the
department is committed to providing high quality service to its internal & external
customers, maintaining fiscal stability, and assisting the institution to fullfill
its mission & vision.
Furthering the vision, mission and values of Solano Community College, the mission of the Finance and Administrative Services Division is to pursue excellence in the delivery of support and services to members of the community. Excellence is pursued through a strong and innovative foundation of fiscal support, customer service, a diverse, loyal, and quality workforce, and a safe and welcoming environment.
In order to achieve the mission, the division develops and maintains the college’s
sound and systematic financial and internal control structure in alignment with the
college’s strategic plan, policies, and GAAP. A service-oriented, team approach is
utilized to provide financial information, systems, and policies that meet fiduciary
and regulatory responsibilities, address the operational needs of the college’s departments,
provide prudent and efficient management, and serve the needs of our students, alumni,
fellow employees, and community members.
The Finance & Administrative Services Division will be a partner in the educational mission of the Solano Community College by providing efficient and innovative solutions, services, and support to the college community. The division aims to foster an environment where the expectations of our customers are exceeded, the contributions of a diverse work force are valued, and all members of the college community are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity.
