Solano Education Foundation
Since 2013, SCCEF provided $3.2M to support the College, including over $1M in restricted fund donations to departments and programs, $638,000 for student scholarship awards/stipends, $228,000 in unrestricted funds and $63,000 for the establishment of the Alumni Association.

hand corner. The deadlines for these programs vary, so revisit the site often to see
if any new opportunities are available. You can find more information about the scholarship
programs at SCC here.
Note: You will automatically be considered for most of the scholarships based on your completed General Application. You will only need to complete one General Application, although a few scholarships may require additional information. To complete the General Application, please go to the sign in button at the top right of the solano.academicworks.com page and sign-in with your Solano College account! You do not need to create an additional account.
Solano Community College Scholarship Foundation Fund (SCCSFF)
The Solano Community College Scholarship Foundation Fund (SCCSFF) is a non-profit corporation that was formed in 1976 with the purpose of awarding scholarships to Solano Community College students. Scholarship recipients are selected for their academic achievement and their demonstrated potential for excellence during their enrollment at Solano Community College.

CalKIDS is a program from the State of California that funds up to $1,500 in free money for eligible low-income public school students to save for college and career training.
You can use these funds to pay for qualified higher education expenses, such as tuition and related fees, books and required supplies, and computer equipment. Please consult your financial aid office to help process CalKlDS funds.
To use your funds
- you must be between 17 and 26 years old.
- you must be enrolled at an eligible college, university, technical, or vocational institution.
Once funds are requested, they are sent directly to your institution and are treated as an award scholarship.
